Bought the baby a teensy adirondack chair, resisted getting a minivan, and ate slughetti. Easy to pick the least favourite; slugs are not eats.

It continues to entertain me how much people at her daycare love Lizard.

Plus, it probably means that she actually is a cool kid, that it's not just us having mooshy parent brain.

I know this will shock everyone, but we seem to have created a daughter who is both willful and contrary.

It's official: the Lizard is more trustworthy off leash than the dog.

It begins: the Lizard took off her sneaker and had it hidden from daycare staff for an hour.

Things that are fun: setting the Lizard loose in a department store.

Things that are less fun: having the Lizard make a break for it towards the door... Except when it was actually time to leave.

The Lizard has a new job at the store: slowest cart pusher ever.

Kid figures out how to climb onto a rocking chair. Kid becomes very good at getting onto said rocking chair. Kid stands on rocking chair. 

I see we have stitches in our future.

It's fun having a kid who gives a spark of happiness to total strangers because she grins at them or waves at them.
