Sometimes the Lizard will show off her new tricks for other people, and sometimes she won't. And then sometimes she'll just whip out a brand new skill in front of everyone.

Having a sick kiddo just makes you want to snuggle them even harder... And makes it even harder when they don't want to snuggle.

Show a baby a toy in a box and she'll be totally fixated on it; buy the toy and take it out of the box and she'll immediately notice the bag of toiletries you haven't put away yet, and play with that instead.

We need to start eating food out of bigger buckets so the Lizard will still have a bucket hat to make her happy.

Today I learned it is possible to screw up picking up the baby from daycare.

Having a toddler requires house rules we never thought we'd have to have. Like "no bicycles in the bathroom".

Today we got to see Lizard in her natural weekday habitat. It's fun that her teachers love her sooooo much, even though she's one of the kids they have to watch very carefully.
