Power outages are much more fun when a) there is a storm to watch and b) you don't have babies to put to bed.

Good thing I made Chinchilla's baby blanket so big - apparently it needs to have room for two kids to have tummy time.

Lizard has had her first real haircut. Now I know why my mom used to have us watch a movie when she cut our hair...

The good news is, it's probably more or less straight for the most part.

Sometimes you just have to lead a toddler to a big bucket of dirt.

We did some work getting ready to plant the vegetable garden (and planted some tomatoes). Lizard has now discovered playing in dirt.

I see a lot more baths in our future...

Some days, you get to giggle all day long with your two year old.

Today Lizard told us she was "too busy" to come to the table for dinner.
